La Communidad de Fe y Fiesta
La Communidad de Fe y Fiesta meets once each month, on the last Saturday, from 5 to 7 pm as a "house church" for fellowship, prayer, and community in a bi-lingual (Spanish and English) environment.
La Communidad also sponsors special events and services throughout the year that help to connect St. Michael's to the Hispanic context of New Mexico, such as the Feast of San Francisco and blessing of animals in October; participation in the annual "Marigold Parade" in the South Valley on the Dia de los Muertos in November; the Commemoration of Our Lady of Guadalupe in December; the Las Posadas drama at Christmas of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter in the inn; the Urban Way of the Cross in downtown Albuquerque on Good Friday; and the Festival of San Isidro and blessing of the acequias (ditches) during May.
La Communidad is the successor to the "Live at Five" service: see the list of current events below.
