TWO DIFFERENT POSITIONS or ONE POSITION WITH TWO MODES OF LEADERSHIP?
- Two Distinct Programs: The 9:00am and 11:15am music programs have historically been very distinct. 11:15 is a traditional choral program for an Episcopal Church. 9:00am has functioned as an “ensemble” with strong leadership within the instrumental and choral sections. Often these programs have had two different directors.
- One Position or Two: We are willing to hire either one interim music minister who can lead in two very different modes: serving as a “choral director” at 11:15 and as a “musical community organizer” at 9:00am. We can also see separating the position and hiring two distinct ministers, one for each program.
