Lessons and Carols
The tradition of the service of Lessons and Carols comes from the Chapel of King's College, Cambridge, where it was first observed on Christmas Eve, 1918. Since 1919 the service has begun with the hymn "Once in royal David's city." Beginning in 1928 the service was broadcast by the BBC, and except in 1930, it has been heard annually. Intergenerational Messy Church Service
A simple retelling of the story of the birth of Jesus, especially suited to households with young kids. While not a formal pageant, all will be invited to play an angel or a shepherd and to join in the story. We will finish with Eucharist and Silent Night in the dark with candles.

Festival Service with Coro de Luz
Join our Coro de Luz for a festive service with favorites like "Feliz Navidad." The service includes a sermon from the rector, Eucharist, and finishes with Silent Night sung in multiple languages with candles.
Come at 7:30pm for musical preludes.

with Chancel Choir and strings
Join us for the late service with our chancel choir and strings. This service will feature beloved Christmas Carols and anthems, includes a sermon from the rector and Eucharist, and finishes with Silent Night in the dark with candles. Come at 10:00pm for musical preludes.

Christmas Day at St. Michael's, we keep things very simple. The organist leads us in hymns, a simple homily, and Eucharist.

We combine our later services for a 10:00am Eucharist on the first Sunday of Christmas.

January 4 at 7:30am
Our usual 7:30am service for the last Sunday of the Christmas Season. We mark the end of the season with Epiphany.
January 4 at 10:00am Epiphany with E-Jazz
We combine our later services for a 10:00am Eucharist on the last Sunday of Christmas. E-Jazz, lead by our own Emerson Corley, are our guest musicians. This service will feature baptisms and will end with a potluck brunch.

The 9:30am Eucharist and Contemplative Prayer will not meet on December 25 or January 1. The Food pantry will be open on December 30.
